Thirty before 30

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.  Whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.
Colossians 3:16-17

I was hesitant in writing down things I want to achieve by a certain amount of time because sometimes its fun to just do things sporadically without plans. However I realize sometimes we need motivation, we need encouragement in dark times and writing it down, will empower us to remember the hope we have of doing great adventurous things! When something is written down, we feel held accountable and are able to re-read our dreams and goals.

I challenge you to write down your hopes, your dreams, and the vision the Lord has given you for your life. So that even in the challenges and trials, maybe even in the times you are working towards a dream which feels so far away, you can reignite that fire to keep going by reading over them.

Especially for me, writing it down helps me to stay motivated. It’s easy to have a lot of dreams and aspirations within us but whether we set out to see them happen is another thing. The more we are able to see them written down and acknowledge our desires and share them with others, the more we will want to see them come to pass! Also when the Lord has placed things on our hearts, if we don’t write them down, we can push them aside and go do other things or lose sight of what our purpose is! Life is an adventure, may it be all for His glory in all that we do. Whether in word or deed may we live as lights for the world to be pointed to Him.

And who knows, maybe by writing a list, there will be people who can help you accomplish one of them or are willing enough to do it with you !!

These are thirty things I want to do before I turn 30.
