Just stand right there.


Sometimes the most beautiful moments are the ones when we are standing still.

They aren’t always when we are running, or jumping or even talking,

But rather they are the very moments where we take a deep breathe in, look around us and take it all in.

Rather than rushing through the very place we are, we rest in it, and live in it.

I have come to see a bad habit I have of running.

I try to run through moments, through jobs, through relationships to get somewhere else.

Rather than seeing all that I have been blessed with, I take a look at it, hold onto it and then throw it on the ground,

Running for the next best thing (Well hoping there is something better next.)

I have come to see the problems in which that causes.

It wrecks relationships, it wrecks my heart and it hinders my effectiveness for the Lord.

For instead of being wholly present where I am, and joyfully serving the Lord in the moment.

I stand in the moment and look for the next best place in which I can serve Him, the next job where I can live for Him in a greater measure.

Oh, how I have come to see how silly that is.

For He has brought me to a place where He longs to use me.

I have chosen this. He gives us choice and longs for us, once choosing something, to love Him whole heartily through it.

Wherever you are, just stand right there.

Take a moment to ask the Lord what He wants to do through that place, through you and for you.

For I took what the Lord gave me, and it was almost as if I spit on it and threw it on the ground because I felt I needed to be doing something more-something greater rather than being faithful in the little, the everyday moments.

I pray that Our Lord leads you to a realization of His hand upon your life right where you are.

I ask you Heavenly Father that you would bring forth a deep revelation of your love for us and what you long to do with each of our lives as individuals but also as a body. May you reveal to us areas of our heart that you long to place your healing hand upon and bring us to see what we may be taking for granted or the talents in which we are burying rather than investing. Forgive us Lord for misusing the gifts you have given us and the many blessings in which you place before us, because we are hoping for something better. Lord you are good and you are King. The only place to be is with you right where we stand. In Jesus name, I ask that through the Holy Spirit our eyes are opened, ears are opened and hearts are softened to see, hear and love you with all we have! Amen!

May you arm yourself with the armour of the Lord.

May you stand right where you are-prepared to serve the Lord with all you have.

Don’t go looking for a better moment, or a new place or new people.

For every place you go too, there will be problems, there will be hardships-however, take heart for you can overcome them through Him who is in you. There is nothing to great in which the Lord has not already overcome and through His grace, you can too.

It may not always look or feel how you imagined, yet when it is laid down at the feet of Jesus, it is always far greater and can be used for His glory.

Just stand where you are, and earnestly seek the Lord through it.

The beauty of learning contentment, isn’t grown in a place where there is nowhere to shake it.

Contentment is formed from living through times of discontent and hardships.

“I am not saying this because I am in need, for I have learned to be content whatever the circumstances.  I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want.  I can do all this through him who gives me strength.”
Philippians 4:11-13

Use what you have, where you are with who you are with.

There is no better moment than now to live a life of sweet, sweet worship for the Lord.

Live right where you are loving those around you and the Lord with all you are.

“Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong. Do everything in love.”
1 Corinthians 16:13-14

Love looks like something.

Be so blessed and may through whatever you are facing or have not yet acknowledged you may need too,

Just stand right there,

In the palm of the Fathers hand and take heart.

For He will bring you through it by His grace and strength through the Holy Spirit.

Don’t miss all that He has blessed you for, hoping for something better.

For this may be the very thing He wants you to invest the rest of your life into and if it so be that, do it with all joy and praise!

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love”
Ephesians 3:16-17
