Greater Love

As I walk through crowds of people, my eyes meet the gazes of individuals around me. I quietly make my way through as I watch the people pass. I take a moment to stand still as I hear His gentle voice seap through my heart, “My Child, each person you pass are those I love, just as I love you. I sent my Son so that they too could recieve His love and grace. Just as much as you needed love, they too need my unfailing, never fading love. As my Son showed you unconditional love, show them His same love. For I am with you and will touch the depths of their heart, but for that to happen, you must  reveal me to them through walking in my love and presence.”  In that moment, I can feel the press upon my heart. I lift my eyes up to see those around me and take a moment to thank my Father. For His ways are always higher than my ways, and His thoughts are always so much greater than mine. For what I fail to see daily, He reveals to me through His eyes.

I am reminded of how little I share Christ’s unconditional love with others. How little I step out in faith to allow Him to be seen by those around me. How humbling is it to see that Christ died for all, He made the greatest sacfrice of unconditional life; trusting that those who accept Him will do the same and yet so many of us live to please ourselves. Most of us do not reach out lovingly to others but we try to meet our own needs first. May we  daily show sacrifical love to those around us. To do simple things with great love, to help carry others burdens and to walk in a way that exemplifies Christ. To love in ways that people cannot make sense of or understand.

“Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us. This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit. And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. And so we know and rely on the love God has for us.” 1 John 4:11-16

Ask yourself : How can I show unconditional, sacrifical love to those around me everyday? How can I allow Christ to shine through me in divine ways where others will come to see and know Him?

For people who do not know Christ are not seeking insitutions or rules to follow; they are seeking divine encounters with God. They are seeking to fill their empty hearts and recieve hope, acceptance, worth and love! They aren’t seeking to have knowledge or theology but to truly encounter the Lord God Almighty in a way where He meets them where they are and brings them into His loving embrace. People first need to see Jesus then become disciples.

May we bless people in a way that blows the community around us away. May as a body of believers we begin to love exceedingly past the limits of our society. For all that we have is Gods, it is not ours to begin with so many we stop holding onto our earthly materials. He blesses us so that we may bless others. He does not bless so we can store up and hoard our treasures, He desires us to give unto others. To share, to bless and to live in the Kingdom of Heaven. May we change our mindset from this world to the way of Heaven. For our God is great, may we allow Him to be seen in great ways.

How can we love people who do not deserve love? How can we bless those we do not know? How can we allow God to be revealed through our everyday life? Are we are ordinary people allowing an extrordinary God work in and through us?

May all the world see God through His believers. May we live in what His truth proclaims and His Spirit guides us to do. May our answer always be “Yes God!” For no community should remain how it is when we live in it. For we should be sowing the seeds of restoration and redemption wherever we are; scattering the seeds of love onto all passing. For we walk on Holy ground, we walk in the full anointing of the Holy Spirit. And through that, we already hold all we need to bring Heaven to earth. Are you a glimpse of heaven to others? Are those passing by able to see Christ without words being spoken?

“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.” Colossians 3:12

“Jesus may we learn to live by your indwelling life just as you lived by the Fathers indwelling life in you. May you empower us to shower the world with your great love. May we be men and women eager to love those around us sacrificially and uncontionally. Forgive us for holding onto what we have been blessed with instead of helping those passing us. I thank you for your love God, I thank you for life and may we begin to dwell in your presence so that all we do, say and think will be in-step with you Heavenly Father. You are enough, may our life be a message of your love. In Jesus name, Amen!!”

CHALLENGE FOR YOUR LIFE: LOVE OTHERS. Love others unconditionally, sacrificially, even when it is hard. Lavish love on others, go out of your way to love on random people. Begin to live your life leaving a trail of changed hearts becasue of Christ’s unfailing love in your own heart. Begin to take simple steps to love people more, to ask the Lord that blindness may be removed and you will clearly be able to see those around you who need love. Ask the Lord how you can give more.167477679863709613_WX5vQ3us_c

For our lives are no longer ours but we are vessels for Christ to live through by His indwelling Holy Spirit. May we begin to allow His Holy Spirit to work through us, to bring the love and power of God to work through ourselves to influence and change the world. Bringing the Kingdom to earth through every action, word and thought. May we be those who live in great love.
