May Love Come

Closing my eyes as I listen to the sound of voices rise, as those standing around me pour out there hearts with songs of praise and adoration. I stand in reverance before the King of Kings. My heart  overwhelmed by the love that fills the room. How beautiful is the love of our God? How great is His presence, that we may stand before His throne, empowered by the love He releases. For His love removes all fear and brings forth a life of honor and riches of His Kingdom. For standing before His throne, all I see is Him-for He is the very thing my heart seeks to be filled with. He is the love that nothing else can ever measure upto. His love, is that which brings us to sing songs of adoration and praise. Who God is, is beautiful and He is all we need.

“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.  We love because he first loved us.” 1 John4:18-19

Jesus, thank you. Thank you for your abundant love, for your sacrifical love, for your unconditional love. Thank you for loving me, even when I did not deserve it. Thank you Father, that you are the very thing our hearts seek to be filled with, love. joy

Love, how absolutely beautiful it is. So often we only seek the aspects of love, that we miss the very essence which love is; God Himself. In the process of seeking only peices of love, we miss experiencing the fullness of what love intents to fill us with. And through that, we not only hold back love for others, but ourselves and most of all to the Lord. For God cares more about our relationship with Him then the service we so feverishly work towards.  For we have come to believe that to recieve love, we must do something for it. Ahh, but our beautiful Father, shows us different. He loves us whether we do something for Him or not, He loves us undeniably even when we mess up. He loves us enough that while we were still sinners and seperated from Him, He sent His Son to die for us so that we could come back into the indwelling place of recieving His love continually. We can recieve His love to the fullest by spending time with Him, not in a sense of doing but rather being; being with Him, soaking in His presence, talking with Him and praising Him.

May you come to make worship and praise a part of your daily life. That you will begin to love the Lord, truly from the depth of your heart. That as He lavishes His love onto you, you will accept it and let it flow into the lives of others. For how do others to see the Lord and feel His love if they do not know Him personally? For it is through His sons and daughters that He is visible. To allow His presence, love and light to shine through, we must spend intimate time with the Lord that will begin to produce His character within us, through the power and work of the Holy Spirit.

“No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.” 1 John 4:12

May we come to see that our lives are a beautiful message of the Fathers great unfailing love. May we not dwell on what the Lord is not doing in our life, for He is always doing something beautiful; whether you can see it or not. May we come to Him with thanksgiving and praise, adoring Him for who He is, through all seasons. May we begin to declare what the gracious Lord is doing in our lives rather than what we are seeking to be done but has not yet passed. Our God is love, He is radiant and beautiful and desires to lavish upon us the riches of His Kingdom. As followers of Christ, we are God’s children and He adores us. He loves us and values us. May we come to find our identity in Him and through His Word so that we may be able to stand unwavering in His love, accepting it and acknowledging that we are His Children, who are Heirs of His Kingdom.

“Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’  This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'” Matthew37-39

Ask yourself, who am I being that those around me are seeing? Are those around me seeing Christ and feeling the love of God?

Begin to love others, begin to step out and do simple things that enlighten others lives. Begin to be the very essence of love, loving others even when it is hard. For love is what each heart desires to be filled with; may we allow God to fill the hearts of all through our mere vessels.
