As I stood in the middle of a crowd, being pushed back by the many who wanted to get as close as they could to Him. I pressed on, for I knew if I only touched the hem of His robe that I would be freed, that I would be healed. Yet I was surrounded by many who wanted to just see Him, to have a glimpse of Him, rather than recieving from Him what He had come for. Regardless of all that stood in my way, I was determined to not let that stop me, and as I made my way through the tight crowd. I reached my hand out, and as quick as I touched His glorious robe, I was no longer stumbling to make it through the crowds. I stood up straight, my pain no longer burning…but I was free…
What a beautiful story of a women who although was seen as unclean among men, was redeemed and made whole through the Lord Jesus Christ. For she had faith in the truths written about the coming Messiah, and knew He held all that she needed. She did not let those in her way hinder her from recieving what she knew He came for; Salvation and Healing. Jesus came to redeem the world from Sin and Sickness. His blood cleanses us from Sin and His body died so that our body may be made whole.
“He took up our infirmities
and bore our diseases.” Matthew 8:17
May we as believers of a living God, who is the “Great I AM”. Continue to live in His promises and truths. To live in the fullness of the Gospel, that our Lord is a Lord of healing, of redemption, of power, of grace, of restoration and of forgivness. May we no longer disregard that healings and miracles were just for then and not for now-for we have inside of us the Holy Spirit-the power that rose Jesus from the dead, alive inside of us. We must rise up and press through the crowd of those just standing around watching Him and walk in faith. Acting out what we know is His truth and enabling our faith. For faith is not just believing in the word of God but acting in it. For when recieving Christ as Saviour, we become citizens of the Kingdom of God. Sons and Daughters of God, and with that, we have the authority of Jesus within us, waiting for us, through faith to reveal it to the world.
“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; Luke 4:18
May we begin to thirst for joy of salvation, hunger for the bread of life, seeking the power of the Holy Spirit and claim our inheritance as followers of the living God. That Jesus died for our Spirit and flesh, that we are no longer under the bondage of sickness and diseases but He came to bring life and life to the fullest. To heal us of our iniquities and diseases. Claim all that Christ offers and believe in the promises of God. Walk in faith not by the eyes of the world.
“Here bring your sins, He will wash them away. Here bring your sickness, He will heal you today. We serve not a dead but living God, not “I was” but THE GREAT I AM.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8
“Thank you Jesus, for taking cleansing us of our sins. For redeeming us for your Kingdom. For bearing our sins and sickness so that we will be made whole and free through you. May we begin to live in the fullness of your Holy Spirit and the life you died for us to have. May we allow breakthrough to come forth, for unbelief and doubts, so that we can see you for who you are. That you are the Lord of healing and the Lord of miracles. May we rise up as men and women empowered by your Holy Spirit to bring forth your manifestion of your great, undying power Lord Jesus Christ. We ask this in your name, may we bring you the glory you deserve. Amen!”
Come all for there is good for the hungry, strength for the faint, hope for the hopeless and sight for the blind.
