living for His glory

We are all making a crown for Jesus out of these daily lives of ours, either a crown of golden, divine love, studded with gems of sacrifice and adoration, OR a thorny crown, filled with the cruel briars of unbelief, or selfishness, and sin…”Aimee Semple Mcpherson (1890 – 1944)

Our lives are but a flash here on earth.  In the whole scale of time, each of our lives take up but a second. When you stand before the King of Kings, What do you think His response to your life will be? Will He be pleased with what you had done using the gifts and talents entrusted to you? Will He be delighted in the life you had lived, bringing Him nothing but utter glory?

“Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Come and share your master’s happiness!” Matthew 25:23

Or as you stand before Him, in all His splendor, will you wish you had done more for Him? That you would have lived to the utmost of your ability through His life given to you?

May you begin to see your life with all the potential you hold to bring the Kingdom of Heaven to earth through all you do, act and say. Life is beautiful and may you trail, behind you an array of His beauty and radiance. Knowing that all the work you do here for the Kingdom, although may not be seen or respected among the world, will be cherished for eternity in an unshakable Kingdom.

“Why spend money on what is not bread, and your labor on what does not satisfy? Listen, listen to me, and eat what is good, and your soul will delight in the richest of fare. ” Isaiah 55:2
