Have you ever considered what living for Christ looks like?
Living for Christ is laying down your life for Him “and anyone who does not carry his cross and follow me cannot be my disciple” Luke 14:27
Luke 14:25-35 talks about the cost of being a disciple, and it won’t cost you a lot, it’ll cost you everything. The closer we walk with God, the less anything else can get inbetween the two of you. May you be reminded of Enoch (Genesis 5:24, Hebrews 11:5-6) Enoch walked with God, and through that He did not die for He was taken up to heaven. When Enoch lived, Jesus had not yet come. Therefore they did not recieve by grace salvation. Enoch was showing the importance of a relationship with God and living a life pleasing to the Lord. For through that Enoch showed that when we walk with Him we will never die, for our soul will live eternally. We have now recieved that grace, and may we walk so close with God that you become blameless in His eyes. “For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age” Titus 2:11-12
May you seek Him and through seeking, gain maturity in your faith, producing a righteous and holy life. Bearing the fruit of a life walking in the steps of our saviour Jesus Christ.
Be still before the Lord and let Him revel what things in your life He need’s to cleanse and purify so that you may live a life worthy of Him
Be blessed today
When you find time, look up verses on righteousness, holiness and fear. May they shine some light on the importance of bearing those fruits.
