The heart is such an intresting thing. Growing up, we have the idea that we actually have a heart-shaped organ inside of us, and as we grow older we never see it to be something that keeps us alive physically but emotionally. We start feeling heart break, pain from sadness, a heaviness when we’re unsure, overwhelmed when we start to fall in love, and a sense of panic when anxious. The heart goes from being a picture of joy to reality, and although it grieves, hurts, loves and inspires it’s a piece of who we are, that we end up giving parts away to those that come into our lives.
It is simply reminding us of all that we have endured and despite everything, still beats. How does your heart feel today?
Mine? It has mixed feelings. I’m feeling joyful as the sun is shining and am reminded of God’s great love for me, but it also hurts. But despite the hurt, it brings me gratefulness. I miss people that have pieces of my heart, but I’m grateful that God has blessed me with such amazing people that makes being away hard. I spent six months at a bible college called Capernwray Hall in England, and I met people from all walks of life. Each one having an impact on my life, and a few holding a place forever in my heart.
Our hearts have the ability to love with a supernatural love, a love that only Jesus Christ can give us and with that we can do great things. May you continually fill your heart with only things that will encourage, inspire, uplift and show His great and unfailing love.
You are loved, You matter and You are someone who has the ability to change the world – May you seek, everyday of your life someone’s life to impact, someone’s heart to heal or allow them to feel loved.
Seeking for God’s love has been on my heart for a while, and as I continue to seek for this love that we can hardly comprehend, may you also begin to search for His great love, not this earthly love we have come to know but a love that is beyond our understanding, a love that held Jesus Christ to the cross. A love that through it, we will be able to love other’s as we love ourselves.
May today you feel as loved as you truly are and may you share that love with someone else.
Live to influence – Live to make a change
1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends…
